Twang wins a Scovie Award!

World's Most Competitive Fiery Foods Contest Announces 2012 Scovie Award Winners

Twang Parnters' Caliente 86' clip strip, was honored a 3rd place award in the Hot and Spicy showdown!

The Scovie Awards is an annual competition that takes place in the month of October that recognizes the top fiery foods products in the world.  Categories include foods, condiments, beverages, sauces, and marketing items that include product packaging, pint of sale items, logos and labels.  What makes the Scovie Awards different from other food competitions is that it is specifically targeted to the Fiery Foods & BBQ industry and is one of the most competitive blind tasted food competitions.  Hundreds of products are entered and go through rigorous tastings and judging to receive the top honors.  This year there were over 700 entries.

The 2010 Scovie Awards has honored Twang Partners with a 3rd Place Award in the Marketing & Advertising Category for product packaging with Caliente 86 clip strip.  Judges for this category are seasoned professionals from the marketing, advertising and Web Design/Internet field.  All entries will be judged on the basis of design, creativity/visual impact, originality, quality and content.

The Scovie Award winners can be seen and tasted at the 2012 Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show March 4-6, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Congratulation to everyone at Twang!

Annual camping trip with better tasting beer...

Hi Twang…

First off I would like to say how great of a product you guys produce. My family, friends and I are avid twang “users”, and thoroughly enjoy your product. Every year on the third week of May, around 30 of our close friends and family members get together at a great fishing spot in Eastern Arizona and camp for the whole week. Plenty of twang gets used during the day and night of this trip to enhance our frosty cold one’s taste. We set up a twang display holding the shakers on a tree, dubbing it the Twang tree. On the last full day of the trip we play a drinking wiffelball game which is a blast and a lot of drinking/Twang using goes down. In fact we have unofficially named our wiffelball field “Twang Field” and it’s quickly spreading around to the other campers of what goes on there.

I am writing this e-mail just to let you know how highly we think of your product and the use we get out of it. It has become the center of our trip planning and we can never forget the Twang. Keep up the great work and we are looking forward to all the great uses we will get out of your product.

** I have attached pictures of the camping crew on “Twang Field” and of the “Twang Tree”

Thanks for taking the time to read this e-mail.
