Title: Field Marketing Intern

Compensation: $10/hr

Job Location: San Antonio, TX

Hours: 8-10 hours per week, schedule is flexible on- site, Weekend events

Internship Duration: January 7th- May 31st

We are best known for our Twang beer salt, which is the flagship product of our company, however we are constantly moving forward and expanding our product lines under our brand.


Job description

The Field Marketing intern will work under the supervision of the Field Marketing Manager and closely with the entire marketing team to fulfill field/promotional needs. The Field Marketing intern will be utilized to execute field/trade events for the marketing team by promoting brand awareness and educating the consumer about the product.  


Core Responsibilities

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager in preparing, executing and follow-up of field marketing activations
    • Set up, work and take down of event
    • Make sure we are well represented, know Twang Street Team script, be able to engage with consumers, be able to manage the amount of product and merchandise at events
  • Conduct research on potential field/promotional opportunities for the brands.
    • Prepare concise research and present by deadlines
    • Expand the research findings into opportunities for Twang
  • Help create field marketing strategies to gather data on consumers
  • Assist in promoting and spreading awareness of the Brand Ambassador Program
  • Create field marketing calendars with brand specific events


Job Requirements

  • Must be a Full-time student; Junior or Senior
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Availability on weekends, for weekend events
  • Ability to speak with consumers on all levels
  • An understanding of marketing /sales principles and concepts
  • Fast learner, ability to take on project and produce results
  • Reliable, trustworthy and honest
  • Outgoing, must have interpersonal skills
  • Creative, confident and proactive
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to perform market research and research writing
  • Highly organized, punctual and detail-oriented
